Is public knowledge

And everyone else
Dare not defend me

I look to My Father.

He says:

“Listen to My voice
And ask yourself
Why you doubt
I will take care
If you

“What must I do
To convince you
Of My power
And My love
For you?”

I close my eyes.

Can I remember
Or even imagine
God showing mercy
To one like me?

I open my eyes.

I open my mouth
And challenge My Father:

“If You love me
So much

“Why doesn’t Jesus come
And confront my accusers
So that they…”

“Drop their stones!”
