I am… shielded.

I did not see
That evil principalities
Had been using
My addiction

To alienate me
From myself

So Jesus
Wrote my true name
In the dust

And the firing
And the gossip
And earthly condemnation

Was just
The shallow echo
Of chains breaking
From eternity

I look to My Father.

He says:

“Rejoice
In your lowly estate

“Because it is only
When you are stripped
Of every mortal solution

“That you finally
Let go enough
That I AM allowed to…”

“Destroy your problems!”
