I am… exposed.

Alone
On the surface

Nowhere to hide
Nowhere to run

No clever machinery
To insulate me
From the consequences
Of other people’s folly

I am trapped.

In the culture
The legalism
The self-deception
The self-protection

Of those
Who say they know Christ
But have forgotten
His power to kill sin

I listen to the Spirit.

He says:

“Do not use their weapons
To free yourself
Let Me use them…”

“To setup My ambush!”
