I follow Jesus
Feasting
On the brood of vipers
That others avoid

Sin
Lust
Shame
Rage
Division
Bitterness
Regret

As my natural prey

I see Jesus.

He is no longer
With me
In the valley

He has risen.

He stands
On a high cliff
On the edge of the unknown
And calls me up

Saying:

“You must come
And see this…”

“You won’t believe your eyes!”
