When our past and future doth tumble and roll
We need to find the still present
When earth and heaven seem out of control
We know that God is still present

When feeling abandoned to worldly parole
Remember that Christ was still pre-sent
What now seems like “curse” in our God-given role
We choose to receive as still “present”
