An inflated ego’s not bad
When there’s a world to be had
Denying the norm
Is how we form
A Selfness that makes our hearts glad

Yet this virtue makes us our worst
Which is why our bubble He burst
The void He creates
When ego deflates
Is how God redeemeth the curst
