I like to hide behind words
Invoking past truths I have heard
So I can gain
Without facing pain
Things I have merely observed
But if Christ’s disciple I be
There is a new claim on me
To seek like a sleuth
To live out that that truth
And show others how to be free
My message and my preaching were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power
