Jesus
Tell
Us
To Love
Our Enemies?

The same Way
He Loved
Us

The same Way
He told Us
To deny our Self
Take up our Cross
And follow Him

He knows
The Pride
That sustains Us
That sustains Self
Will kill Us
Will destroy Self

Will crucify Him
All over again

That
Is the horrifying Truth
Of the cross

Either
We let Him
Crucify our flesh
So we
Can love
Like Him

Or else
He lets Us
Crucify His
