Radically Happy

The king of this world / Seeks to destroy / Defame / Deny // The name of Jesus…

It will not be easy / Being married to Jesus // He knows / We are heading for a cross…

Each of us / 
Must hold the tension / 
Between staying with the group / 
And following the strongest trail…

Like sheep without a shepherd / We wait for parents / To collect us..

The babies are not dropping at random / 
He is throwing them to me / 
Like a Father / 
Playing catch / 
With His son…

He is inexplicably proud of me / 
Because I am His

Swapping lenses for my patients / To help Them see clearly // Yet / I myself / Cannot see…

I am a sailing ship / 
Sailing blind / 
And somewhere / 
There be dragons…

His Bride is asleep / From pain and exhaustion // He places a hand on her belly / Smiling at the life He implanted within…

He gently points out / That all those victims / Are also criminals // And so / Am I…

I am supposed / To look into their eyes / And know who they are / But all I remember / Are facts and figures…

There is so much to see / 
I can’t see very far / 
So much to hear / 
I can’t listen to anything…

Not because I loved her / 
But because I hated him…

Now He can trust us enough / 
To see where we are going / 
And what we are going through…

I look for Jesus. / But I see nothing / So I slow down…

I see my brothers / And sisters / By the light / They reflect from Jesus…

We are scattered / Slowly falling / In random directions // I look for Jesus. / He is not falling / He is diving…
