Spirit Approach Memo

Continued from More Than The Grains Of Sand

I am… alienated.

I swam too far out
In the ocean of grace

When I return
The language of men
Has changed

Or mine has.

My new songs
Fall on deaf ears

And often enrage
Rather than soothe
Both me and them

I listen to the Spirit.

He says:

“The reason

Makes you cruel
To others

“Is because
You were only…”

“Swimming on the surface!”

Reflection

I feel…

• Shallow
• Misunderstood
• Angry

Scripture

“Why am I doomed to live as an alien, scattered among these cruel savages? Am I destined to dwell in the darkened tents of desert nomads?
For too long I’ve had to live among those who hate peace. I speak words of peace while they speak words of war, but they refuse to listen.”

Psalms 120:5-7 TPT

Inspired by Prayers on Fire for Men
