That powered me
Is gone

And I crumble
Into the dust bunny
From which I came

I listen to the Spirit.

He says:

“Open your eyes
And see
Your reward”

I see
The upside-down beanstalk
Of my life
Now dead
And dessicated…

Yet glorious.

Because
It has hardened
Into a cross
Pointing to Christ

As an unimpeachable testament
That the greatest power
On earth
Or in heaven

Only comes…

From giving it all away!
