Trust I AM over what you see.

MIC Check

Today’s Most Important Challenge is…

  • Telling the stories of Jesus
  • To a whole new world

Held In Scripture (Hosting Ignatian Spirituality)

Concluded from The Nations They Will Hear

I see Jesus.

He is… us.

The shining city
He led us to

Was the blood-soaked ground
My body
And tree
Died in

Of His Body

Seen from the other side.

Every failure
Betrayal
Loss
Treason

Was actually a shortcut
That brought us
Into the agonized ecstasy
Of the fullness

Of His Presence
Of His Communion
Of Him

I see myself.

Shredded and recycled
Yet still myself

Connected
Ever more deeply
And intimately

With Him
With them
With me

I see His story.

It is not
A tragedy

It is not
A comedy

It is
A romance

And everything
That felt like treason
Was actually…

Our wedding!

Scripture

“YAHWEH builds up Jerusalem; he gathers up the outcasts and brings them home.
He heals the wounds of every shattered heart.
He sets his stars in place, calling them all by their names.”
