Today’s Most Important Challenge is…
- Picking up the pieces
- Of my ego
- So Jesus
- Can put me back together
- In His image
Held In Scripture (Hosting Ignatian Spirituality)
Continued from Will Move My Soul
I see Jesus.
He is… preaching to the dead.
Not instructing them
Not entertaining them
Not commanding them
Evangelizing them.
In the original sense
Of the word
Telling them
The Good News
They were desperately
Waiting for
But dared not believe
Offering His Body and His Blood.
As incontrovertible proof
So that the dead
Do not
Merely know the truth
But believe it
And live
I see myself.
I am
Poor and helpless
In the face
Of such hellish need
In the reality
That all my cleverness and courage
Are insufficient
To raise the dead
I hear the Spirit.
He says:
“Be kind
To yourself
As I AM“Your job
Is not
To convince or save
Anyone“All I ask
Is that you follow Jesus
In offering…”
“Your Body and Blood!”
To be continued

Scripture
“God always blesses those who are kind to the poor and helpless. They’re the first ones God helps when they find themselves in any trouble.
Psalms 41:1-3 TPT
The Lord will preserve and protect them. They’ll be honored and esteemed while their enemies are defeated.
When they are sick, lying upon their bed of suffering, God will restore them. He will raise them up again and restore them back to health.”
