We are… under attack.

Not
By enemies
From outside
Who hate us

But by friends
From inside
Who are concerned

That we are risking
Too much
Or wrongly
Or foolishly
For this Song

And the worst part
Is wondering
Whether or not
They may be right

I look to My Father.

He says:

“Consider
The beasts of the field
Who are watching you

“Their job
Is not to be right
But be themselves

“Even
If it leads
To ruin or death

“They are still telling
The story
I assigned them

“So too
If you play
Your heart out for Me
As best you know how
However flawed

“Then even if
You get everything wrong
You will see…”

“I AM making it right!”
