We are… clapping.

Not applauding
Because there is no audience
Or even performers

Just
Participants

Who sometimes
Play instruments
Sing
Clap along
Or merely listen

I look to My Father.

He is not leading
From the front

He is not watching
From the back

He is
Among us

Tapping His feet
Keeping time

Noticing
Affirming
Encouraging

My Father looks to me.

He pulls me
Out of the crowd

Sets my feet
On high places

Shows me
The nations of the world

And says:

“Now is the time…”

“To receive your inheritance!”
