I am… blown away.

Jesus is telling
Those of us
Huddled around the campfire

How the Spirit
Brooded life
Into the earth

And then
Gave death
As a gift
To make men mortal

So that we
Might be transfigured
Into His Bride

I hear The Spirit.

He says:

“Come away
With Me
Into the wilderness

“For tonight
You have an appointment…”

“With your doom!”
