I am… paying tribute.

Silver and gold
Which is abundant
In my undersea home

But coveted by those
Who live only
Amidst the scarcity
Of the surface

The authorities who gather here
Are happy to excuse my absence
And overlook my attacks
Because of the wealth I bring them

I listen to the Spirit.

He says:

“You have done well
To purchase your freedom
By blinding the powerful

“Now
You must use that…”

“To liberate the weak!”
