I see Jesus.

He is… lifted up.

He was not
Dismantled
He was
Distributed

And as He ascends
All of us
Snap into place

I see myself.

I am not
The head
Or even
The neck

Not quite
The heart

I am
The aorta
That drinks most deeply
Of the blood

And channels it
To those
Who feed the Body

I look to my Father.

He says:

“Now that The Body
Has finally
Been reunited
With The Head…”

“It is time to dance!”
