Ask what invariant I AM preserving.
MIC Check
Today’s Most Important Challenge is…
- Changing perspectives
- To notice what endures
Held In Scripture (Hosting Ignatian Spirituality)
Continued from Each And Every Sunrise
I see Jesus.
He is… not protected.
Sharks move in
Lured by the blood
Biting off
Big chunks
Of the Body of Christ
I see myself.
Unable
To stop the carnage
Even though
I am the only one
Who sees what is happening
Then a miracle occurs.
The Body of Christ
Had already been stretched
To the point of breaking
The recoil
Pulls the sharks in
Closer to His heart
Where they stop
Snapping and fighting…
And begin to sing!
To be continued

Scripture
“Here they come again— prowling, growling like a pack of stray dogs in the city. Drifting, devouring, and coming in for the kill, they refuse to sleep until they’ve eaten their fill.
Psalms 59:14-17 TPT
But as for me, your strength shall be my song of joy. At each and every sunrise, my lyrics of your love will fill the air! For you have been my glory-fortress, a stronghold in my day of distress.
O my strength, I sing with joy your praises. O my stronghold, I sing with joy your song! O my Savior, I sing with joy the lyrics of your faithful love for me!”
