Today’s Most Important Challenge is…

  • Honoring what is real
  • Even more than what is true

Held In Scripture (Hosting Ignatian Spirituality)

Continued from Chosen For His Own

I see Jesus.

He is… surfacing.

The floods of grace
Carry His corpse
From the gates of hell

Up into oceans
That cover the earth
As knowledge
Covers His glory

I see myself.

I am smaller
Floating on the Body of Christ
In a sea of forgiveness

The fiends
Who once attacked us
Are drowning
In mercy

And I hear
My Father say…

“Throw them pieces of My Son!”

To be continued

Response

What did I experience Jesus as?

  • Life raft
  • Life savers
  • Breakable

  • Refuge

Consolation

  • Letting Him carry me
  • Breaking His body
  • Floating in His blood

Scripture

This forever-song I sing of the gentle love of God! Young and old alike will hear about your faithful, steadfast love—never failing! Here’s my chorus:
“Your mercy grows through the ages. Your faithfulness is firm, rising up to the skies.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭89‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Inspired by Prayers on Fire for Men
