Held In Scripture (Hosting Ignatian Spirituality)
Continued from Supernatural Help Be Sent
I see Jesus.
He is… breathing His last.
As the hosts of hell
Flood through the gates
To sacrifice Him
I see myself.
I am the Edmund.
I am the one
Who bound Him to the altar
With my sins
My lips are still warm
From kissing Him goodbye
Fiends surround me.
My mind
Is too numb
To even think
About self-preservation
Fortunately
They too
Are preoccupied
With far more
Than my petty life
We hear a crack.
The bottom
Drops out
Of the universe…
Then Grace floods in!
To be continued

Scripture
“With breathtaking wonder, let everyone worship Yahweh, this awe-inspiring Creator. He breathed words and worlds were birthed. “Let there be,” and there it was— springing forth the moment he spoke, no sooner said than done!
Psalms 33:8-12 TPT
With his breath he scatters the schemes of nations who oppose him; they will never succeed. His destiny-plan for the earth stands sure. His forever-plan remains in place and will never fail.
Blessed and prosperous is that nation who has God as their Lord! They will be the people he has chosen for his own.”
