2023: Our Year of the Lord’s Favor

I want to be known as Your favor-ite
Celebrating how we two are tight

I don’t care for money or fame
As long as I’m known by Your name

I hunger for seeing Your face
More than for any earthly place

I’m immune to all earthly charms
As long as I’m wrapped in Your arms

I want to be known as Your favor-ite
And help those in darkness to see the Light

I’m no longer an agent of Law
Quick to condemn any flaw

I don’t need to fight for the Truth
When I know I’m safe in your booth

My Rightness is no longer mine
Because I have seen the divine

I want to be known as Your favor-ite
As those around see I love them right

When I share the grace I’ve been given
They too will see earth feel like heaven
