Dream: Dog-Tied

Standard

In this reality, we first meet our chocolate lab Frolic at the Zoo.

We find him tied up with his own long metal chain.
Not complaining, but very sad.

We untangle him, and he licks his wounds.

We are angry. He must’ve been like this for more than a day.

Surely someone is responsible for him.
What’s wrong with them?
We are angry.

The logical conclusion is actually that something happened to his owner.
But I am so busy blaming them for Frolic’s condition I don’t have any empathy or curiosity about them.

When I see someone doing evil, maybe I should start by asking why.
Rather than how to stop them.
