O Lord, being thankful is hard
When my heart feels pierced by a shard
Of this world, now broken and torn
By people so lost and forlorn
But maybe that’s how Christ is sent
Thanksgiving must precede Advent
For as I Your wholeness receive
Then others in Him will believe
Radically Happy
