Radically Happy

It is easy to love when you walk in the light

When everything’s clear, and the future is bright

And all can agree on what’s wrong and what’s right

But so hard to love in the depths of the night

Surrounded by shadows, facing your fright

Huddled in blankets, awaiting the bite

Jesus, please teach me to walk by your might

To trust in your goodness, and not in my sight

Til all of your children are robed in pure white
