Christianity Beyond is a movement of ordinary people who are learning how to make the same kind of extraordinary impact as the Jesus they love.  We honor all the ways people have sought to follow Jesus in the past and present, but dare to go beyond that in order to demonstrate to a watching world just how good and worthy Jesus is.

The world has grown beyond Christianity as we know it.  If we are to recover the world-changing impact Christianity had in the first few centuries, we must take Christianity beyond anything the world can imagine.

We are a diverse community from many different churches, traditions, and theological backgrounds united by our common desire to continually become more like Jesus. Including sharing in His sufferings so that we can bring His resurrection power to those we love.

To that end, we are committed to going:

• Beyond doctrinal disputes to living out Christ’s call to follow Him in unity
• Beyond holiness, evangelism and social action to ongoing transformation of our lives, cultures, and systems to better reflect the Kingdom of God
• Beyond the walls of the church to build communities of practice (“ekklesia“) embedded within our neighborhoods, marketplaces, and institutions
• Beyond ourselves to make famous the One who creates, redeems, and empowers us, who alone is worthy of our trust
