However, as far as I can tell, I’ve never posted my actual salvation story. Let me remedy that today by posting my testimony here. Even though I probably wrote it a decade ago — and the main events happened 25 years ago — it is just as true today as it was then:
I won’t say that my life is perfect, or that I understand everything about God and the Bible. I just know what I was, what I am, and what I am becoming. And that I owe all of that to a God who loves me and has the power to save me from myself, and make me into His image, His son. That is why I am Christian.
Amen. May it be so forevermore!
Prayer: God, I thank you for the amazing things you’ve done in my life over the decades. Forgive me for losing sight of all that you’ve done for me, of the depths of sin and the even greater depths of your grace. May my life continue to be a testimony to You, and You alone. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
