I see Jesus.
He is… a consuming fire.
No longer
To destroy the wicked
But rather
To destroy their wickedness
I see myself.
I must open my heart
To Jesus
And the wicked
So He can destroy
My wickedness
Which hides behind
The knowledge of good and evil
That condemns them
While justifying myself
Allowing
The holy fire of God
To turn my self-righteousness
Into compassion
For other sinners
So that those
Who hate me
And fear me…
are overwhelmed by delight!
