I am… consecrated.

Spotless and perfect
Not despite
But through
My scars
And mismatched selves

Because reconciling
Our own brokenness
Is not only
How we comfort others

But also
How we participate
And manifest
The glory of
Our self-reconciling God

I listen to the Spirit.

He says:

“This is the army
I AM using
To conquer the world

“Not soldiers
Certain
Of their own rightness

“But the redeemed broken
Who have found such comfort
In the glory of being forgiven…”

“They cover the world with grace!”

Messiah, I know God himself will establish your kingdom as you reign in Zion-glory. For he says to you, “Rule in the midst of your enemies!”
