The pillars of this earth
Power
Money
Love

Are collapsing
Under the weight
Of Christ’s
Body and Blood

I listen to the Spirit.

He says:

“Do not fear
What they fear

“Instead…”

“Open your eyes!”

I look closer

I see
The shalom of heaven
Leaking into earth

As the Deep Magic
Reasserts its supremacy
Over mere physics

Flooding the desert
Of scarcity
Humans used
To enforce control

The spirit roars.

He says:

“These are just
The beginnings
Of the birth pangs
That are necessary…”

“For Christ to be lifted up!”
