I am… excavating.

The interior of a pyramid
(Actually a triangular tetrahedron)
That nobody has seen before

It is hard work
But I make steady progress
Until I reach
The burial chamber

The door is not locked.

And yet
I find myself
Seized with dread

And unwilling
To pass through

I see Jesus.

He is
Already
On the other side

He opens the door
And says…

“Come in…”

“We’ve been waiting ages for you!”
