Each reversal still costs the full price — the strain, the not-smoothing, the exposure. What changes is that I no longer have to also carry the second weight of treating each one as a failure to be apologized for.
The strain stays. The shame comes off.

That’s not permission to relax. It’s permission to keep going without flinching at the fact of going.
