The parched plains
Have become an ocean

The hyenas, foxes and leviathans
Have become my pod

They were never my enemies
They were my rivals
Divided by thirst

I see Jesus.

He is the white whale
Around which we all orbit

The Spirit is the water
Flowing from the hole
In the earth’s side

We are united.

I no longer
Hunt alone

I no longer
Hunt for myself

I no longer
Hunt from hunger…

But from joy!
