I am… reigning.

Not from a throne
But a footstool

I wander the land
Like Prince Charming
But washing feet
Instead of trying shoes on them

I look to My Father.

He is not
Waiting at the castle

He is the servant
Bringing the water

He is the coachman
Driving the carriage

My Father looks to me.

He says:

“You have done well
To look after
The lowly and broken

“But now it is time
For you to wash…”

“The feet of your enemies!”
