I am… laboring.

Though I have become
A cloud of seeds
Borne by the Spirit

I still
Find myself
Anxious to ensure
I land in the right place

I look for Jesus.

He is the gravity
That pulls me to earth

His is the breath
That moves me through time

He is the soil
Paths
Stones
Thorns
Onto which I fall

Jesus looks to me.

He says:

“Trying to control
The results of your actions
Is how you trap yourself
In your own cleverness

“If you would
Know My freedom
You must learn the joy…”

“Of pure obedience!”
