I am… reworked.

My body fades away
And all that can be seen of me
Is the blood of Jesus
Flowing through my veins

Overwhelming
My past
My failures
My betrayals
My bitterness
My pride

I look for Jesus.

I no longer
See Him
As just a man

He is the universe.

His Body
Is the fabric
Of all creation

His Blood
The vitality
That binds us all together

His Spirit
The motion
That brings everything to life

Jesus looks to me.

And sees
Himself
In me
Through His blood

As He says:

“I AM glad!”

“Your years of troubles
Have broken down
Your false understanding
Of yourself
And Me

“So now
You are finally ready….”

“To raise the next generation!”
