I am… entombed.

Both
In the sense
That I have entered a tomb

And
Because the Me I find there
Appears dead and buried

Wrapped in layers
Of protective lies
To hide the lack of life

I look to My Father.

He says:

“Son of Man
Will that which is dead
Live again?”

I say:

“Sovereign LORD
You alone know
You alone decide”

My Father smiles

“Not quite…”

He says
Pointing to the crypt

He continues:

“If you wish to see
Your lost self revived
You must awaken it…”

“With a kiss!”
