I am… rising.

From death
From grief
From myself

The broken cistern
That had been my prison
Became my womb

The water breaks.

The corrupt foundations
Of the city
The kingdom
The religion

Are washed away

As are their sins.

They hid me
From fear

God hid me
For my protection

So I could save them

I look to My Father.

He says:

“When I seem far away
It is because I AM
Right behind you
Having gone all the way
Around the universe
Just to be with you
Like this”

The sky cracks.

Heaven rushes in

The full knowledge
Of the glory of the Lord
Fills the earth
As the waters
Cover the sea

And all
Of my former enemies
Join me
In worshipping Him
