Spirit Approach Memo
Continued from Confessed to Her
I am… bound and determined.
Losing my religion
Made me weak
Her fear of people
And faith in money
Turn her heart from me
I can no longer
Hide from the pain
Like I did before
I must find
A better path forward
Than using my strength
To defend myself
So…
I listen to the Spirit.
He says:
“This
Is what it sounds like
To deny yourself
Take up your cross
And follow Me”
I yield my pride.
I let go
Of my vision for the future
I embrace the constraints
Of this present reality
I allow Him
To prepare grain for me
With me
Through me
In the presence of my enemies
Until
The Spirit says:
“Now
It is time…”
“To grow up!”
To be concluded
Reflection
I feel…
- Betrayed
- Unseen
- Tragic

Scripture
When Delilah realized he had finally disclosed his secret, she sent for the Philistine rulers. “Come quickly!” she said. “He’s finally told me his secret!” So the Philistine rulers returned with the bribe money in their hands.
Judges 16:18-22 TPT
Delilah lulled Samson to sleep with his head in her lap. Then she called in a barber to cut off the seven locks of his hair. In this way she weakened him, and his strength drained from him.
Then she cried out, “Samson! The Philistines have come to capture you!” He woke up and thought, “I’ll do the same as before and shake myself free.” But he didn’t realize that Yahweh had turned away from him.
So the Philistines captured him and gouged out his eyes. They took him down to Gaza, where they bound him with bronze chains and forced him to grind grain in the prison. But before long, his hair began to grow back.
