Never
Do I feel like the driver

I look for Jesus.

To my surprise
He is not the head

He graciously
Gave up that spot
So I could have
A better view

He is the heart
Pumping life
To every cell
Of our skeletal body

Nourishing
Reviving
Rebuilding

We come alive.

Somehow
The act of running together
Is turning spiritual union
Into physical connectedness
