I am… staring.

Seeing the battlefield
With the bones of my enemies
And my friends
From long ago

Feeling the weariness
In my own bones
From so many battles fought
And lost

I look to My Father.

I ask:

“How can these old bones
Live again?”

He says:

“Watch!”

He speaks a word
In an unknown language

The bones
Start coming together

And to my amazement
And horror…

So do I!
