I am… a bride.

Waiting outside the church
To go in and marry Jesus

I look to My Father.

He is waiting
To give me away

He is full of joy
He is so proud

But also
There is sorrow

It will not be easy
Being married to Jesus

He knows
We are heading for a cross

He knows
I will be pushed to my limits
And beyond

He knows
My heart
Will break

Like His
Already has
Always does

And that
Is actually the point

For only broken hearts
Are large enough
To un-contain
The love
That is waiting
On the other side
Of that door
