The world that we like to call “real”
Is due to the things that we feel
Warmth on our skin
Rumblings within
Triggers disgust or appeal
Yet all that we experience
Did not emerge from random chance
But was first held
In a mind meld
Birthed out of divine romance
We’re each a non-fungible token
Of our Lord’s body once broken
Though we feel dumb
We still are a crumb
Of the eternal Word spoken
And that is why our Savior cries
For us to shake off the lies
Of disunity
So we can see
Healing from His blood arise
Today I will see His glory
Amidst the crumminess of life
