Then He looked at them and said, “What then is this that is written: ‘The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone’? Whoever falls on that stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”
And the chief priests and the scribes that very hour sought to lay hands on Him, but they feared the people —for they knew He had spoken this parable against them.”‬‬

‭‭Luke‬ ‭20‬:‭17‬-‭19‬ ‭NKJV

Lord it seems I can’t escape
Hard truths You use to reshape
All that I build
Til I am filled
With the wine squeezed from Your grape

So let me fall on You first
That I might escape the worst
Judgement You bring
On foolish kings
Stuck on the plans they rehearsed

You are my true cornerstone
Help me to trust You alone
And thus build a house
As beloved spouse
That turns this world into Your throne

Today I will let His word
Break everything off me
That is not Him
