The cure for burnout is burn-in:
First finding the failures within
Our need to be used
Will leave us confused
Twixt service and slavery to sin
Conformance may give us a start
But always fragments our poor heart
I must find the joy
Of my inner boy
Before I can play the right part
When we face the cries of our soul
We then can make us and them whole
As we burn the flame
Of Jesus’ full name
We live our best life as His coal
Today I will not fear
The purifying flames
