If I dwell too much on my flaws
They pull back with insecure pause
If I try too hard to be right
I’m worried I might block your sight

Maybe I’m missing the point
The Savior’s not mine to anoint
Perhaps all that they need to see
Is how Jesus frees me — from ME!
