1/11 Poem: Strait An’ Arrow Weigh

Standard

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Matthew 7:14 (KJV)

How much does my sin weigh
I ask you Lord today
What gravity is pulling me
So that I fall astray

How long can I resist your love
By clinging to my throne
When will your arrows take my life
So I becomes your own

When will the rivers of your grace
Flow freely through my straits
That all the broken in my world
Know you’re the one who sates

Only when I dare bare my heart
With generosity
Take up my cross and follow you
Will all of us be free

Today I will take the straight and narrow way
So others wander into your wide freedom
