There is no effect without affect
Words help us articulate emotion
Without first turning them to action
But they only improve the situation
(Instead of creating consternation)
When our listeners have the same relation
And feel a part of that same nation
Otherwise we foment negation
And actually increase isolation
Our minds go into hibernation
Rather than joining jubilation
How can we make a new creation?
Only by finding true salvation
The cross, the cure for our frustration
The solid rock of expectation
Radically Happy
