Lord, now that I’ve left Your ocean
I find myself struck by the notion

Each small compromise
That clouds up our eyes
Til we can’t tell cursin’ from blessin’
The reason we’re trapped by this thing
Is we have made comfort our king
My power ensures
My pain quickly cures
Regardless of Your suffering
So we must learn to face our hurt
To let Christ His Kingdom assert
As He heals our eyes
We soon recognize
Our crosses to crowns He’ll convert!

I awake to a scene out of nightmares.
I had thought the Box of Hades a dark place. Even the Cylinder of Shame wasn’t so bad, since the worst parts had already been covered with the Blood of Jesus.
