Poem: Among Us

Standard

When He was among us
We walked where He lead
Now He has brung us
To walk in His stead

His cross has hung us
Then raised from the dead
From sin He has wrung us
Just as He said

So now He’s among us
Through breaking of bread
Though Satan has stung us
We now crush his head!

Communion of the Betrayed

Standard

1 Corinthians 11:23 — For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took bread..,

Similar to HeartSync or Sozo, Communion of the Betrayed (COTB) — also known as Soul Shift — is for inner healing of emotional woundings; but as a public co-devotional practice, inspired by DBJ.

COTB is designed specifically for people who feel they have been betrayed by someone close to them (as Jesus was). This is a very deep wound that requires extraordinary grace.

Special thanks to Jamie Winship of Identity Exchange for his input and encouragement.

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit

John 12:24

Question: Why is it good that all earthly things die?

Perspective: Because every created thing is founded on a contradiction, which God must transcend in order for us to inherit the Kingdom of God

Stoned, Part II: Un-Stoned

Standard

Continued from “Three Stones“…

[I open my eyes. I am lying with my head on Jesus lap. I am a child, perhaps a tween. We are in a garden — beneath the cross. It is early morning, but already hot. A light mist blows from somewhere, cooling us. It is very peaceful and secure.  I could lie here forever with my Jesus.]

Good morning, Ernie.

Good morning, Jesus.

How are you feeling?
